District closes out the old home stadium season during tonight’s game
(Geronimo) — It will be a tribute to football and patriotism as the Navarro Panthers take the field one final time at Erwin-Lee Stadium.
Today’s observance of the 25th anniversary of September 11 continues this evening as the Navarro ISD hosts its First Responder and Military Appreciation Night.
District officials say in remembrance of the lives lost during the attacks on the nation, a special pre-game tribute will honor active-duty service members, veterans and local first responders for their dedicated service and sacrifice.
All first responders, active-duty military members and veterans will receive free admission with a valid service badge or ID.
Participating service members and first responders are asked to gather at the Erwin-Lee Memorial by 6:20 p.m. to take part in the pre-game ceremony.
Fans tonight are also encouraged to add patriotic colors to their Panther Purple attire as they cheer in the stands for this historic final home game at Erwin-Lee Stadium. After tonight, the Panthers will be moving to their new stadium over at the new Navarro High School campus.
The Navarro Panthers are set to take on La Grange. Kick-off is 7:30 p.m.
