(Seguin) — It’s time to get those kids looking fresh for their first day back to school.
Two local events will be offering free haircuts this weekend. Organizers say the hope is to lessen the financial burden on local families.
The first event is Cut N Crüe’s Annual Free Back to School Haircuts. The event will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Seguin Schoolyard located at 225 N. Saunders St., Room 12.
Free haircuts will continue on Sunday, Aug. 16, at Texas Styles Barbershop & Studios. The business will be hosting its 4th Annual Back to School Free Haircut Event.
The Sunday event will run from 2 to 4 p.m. at 501 E. Kingsbury St.
Haircuts will be basic with trims and styles.
Space is limited and services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
