(Seguin) – Today is the final day to help local students prepare for the new school year by donating school supplies and backpacks through the Seguin First Responders Back-to-School Supply Drive.
The drive is a partnership between the Seguin Police Department, Seguin Fire Department and the Seguin Housing Authority. Donations collected will be distributed during the organizations’ upcoming Back-to-School Bash, helping students head back to class with the supplies they need.
Residents can drop off new school supplies and backpacks today at any of the following locations:
Seguin Police Department, 350 North Guadalupe Street
Fire Station Central, 110 Elm Street
Fire Station No. 2, 650 State Highway 46
Fire Station No. 3, 1333 East Kingsbury Street
Fire Administration, 660 State Highway 46
Organizers encourage the community to make one final contribution before the collection ends today, saying even a single backpack or package of school supplies can make a difference for a local student as the new school year begins.
