(Seguin) — A little Halloween creativity could lead to a $25 gift card.
KWED and the Seguin Daily News are inviting readers of all ages to take part in its seasonal coloring page activity featured in the October issue of the Seguin Today Magazine.
Nick Spence, sales manager for KWED and the Seguin Daily News, says the activity is meant to be “a lighthearted way” for the community to participate in the magazine’s Halloween theme.
“The Halloween coloring page is something that we made just to be fun. You can find it in the October issue of Seguin Today magazine, and anybody can color it to the best or worst of their ability. It’s not a coloring contest, so you definitely don’t have to be an artist. Just have fun with it,” said Spence.
He says those who complete the page and submit it by the deadline will be entered into a drawing for one of four gift cards.
“If we receive it by the deadline, you get entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of four $25 Walmart gift cards. All you have to do is mail it in to our office here at 609 East Court Street or feel free to drop it off. If it’s before or after hours, there’s a drop slot in the door and we’ll be sure and get it,” said Spence.
The KWED office is located at 609 E. Court St. Participants should make sure their completed pages are dropped off by the deadline to be included in the drawing.
Meanwhile, the coloring page is just one of the many holiday features in the October issue of the Seguin Today Magazine. This month, the magazine also includes KWED’s annual Halloween Happenings guide.
The guide serves as a one-stop resource for family-friendly Halloween and October events throughout Seguin and the surrounding area.
The continuously updated guide is available online through the Seguin Daily News at SeguinToday.com and on the KWED Facebook page.
Readers again can pick up the magazine to find the coloring page or to review the Halloween Happenings list. The magazine can be picked up at KWED radio or from various locations around town.
