Kiel says the local office is always working to maintain the integrity of voting process.
“We want to maintain the integrity of the election. We feel like we have in the past and will do so in the future,” said Kiel.
To ensure that the process run smooth, Kiel encourages voters to take the time to research the candidates and issues before casting their ballots.
“I just think everybody needs to take the time to do their homework and vote for and have their voice heard,” said Kiel.
Voters are reminded that no electioneering is allowed within 100 feet of the polling location. This includes wearing hats, shirts, buttons of candidates or political parties etc. The use of electronic devices such as cell phones are also not allowed within 100 feet of a voting station.
