(Geronimo) — Here’s an opportunity to learn more about who to vote for during the upcoming Navarro ISD School Board Election.
The League of Women Voters of the Comal Area will be hosting a community Candidate Forum for the Navarro Independent School District Board of Trustees election. The forum will be held this Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Geronimo community center.
Serving residents in Comal and Guadalupe counties, group members say the nonpartisan organization is “dedicated to empowering voters and defending democracy.”
During this candidate forum, community members will have the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and learn about their vision for local schools.
The upcoming school board election includes four open at-large positions. Each elected seat will carry a four-year term. Longtime trustee Donna Gilliam is retiring from board service while Dr. Lacey Gosch and Joel Frederick are not running for re-election.
All five candidates appearing on the November 3 ballot will participate in the forum.
They include Jared Gallini; Noah Webster; Kristen Green; Hillarie Forister and Incumbent Dan Reinhard.
The Geronimo Community Center is located at 280 Navarro Drive.
