The Seguin High School Matador Band on Saturday celebrated a successful first competition of the 2026 season at the Hill Country Marching Festival in Fredericksburg. The band earned the 5A Outstanding Drum Major, 5A Outstanding Soloist – Clarinet, 5A Outstanding Marching and 5A Outstanding Music awards, along with the 5A Class Champion title after placing first.
