(Seguin) — Local kids are invited to cheer on the Seguin Matadors. Students in Kindergarten through the eighth grade are invited to participate in this year’s Mini Mats Cheer Clinic.
The clinic is set for Saturday, Sept. 19, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Seguin High School Student Activities Center. Registration and check-in will begin at 8 a.m.
Organizers say the Mini Mats Cheer Clinic will give participants a chance to learn cheers and skills alongside members of the Seguin High School cheer squad.
Following the clinic, parents will have the opportunity to watch their Mini Mats perform during a parent showoff at 10:45 a.m. Participants will also get the chance to perform in the Seguin High School Community Pep Rally on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Matador Stadium.
Registration is $40 at the door.
