(Seguin) — Seguin Police Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a pickup truck that allegedly struck a teenage pedestrian Tuesday morning and then left the scene.
Seguin Police say the hit-and-run was reported at 8:07 a.m.at the intersection of North King and East Kingsbury Streets.
They say the 15-year-old Seguin High School student told police she was crossing East Kingsbury Street when an older-model pickup truck sideswiped her, striking her right hip and causing pain.
Police say the vehicle continued westbound without stopping.
The truck is described as a dark-colored, older-model pickup with rust spots. The victim believes the driver was male.
Officials say emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and transported the teen to a local hospital for further evaluation.
