Just down the road from Seguin, one of Texas’ largest anime conventions will be taking place this weekend. San Japan kicks off Friday, September 4, and runs through Sunday the 6 in downtown San Antonio. Convention organizers guarantee a good time, with this being the con’s seventeenth year in action.
“The Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center on the downtown River Walk in San Antonio, Texas, is the place to be for anime, gaming, cosplay, and nonstop excitement,” organizers said. “With Japanese guests, voice actors, nearly 200 VTubers, and more than 500 vendors, and the largest gaming area ever, this year is shaping up to be bigger, louder, and way more unforgettable than ever.”
