(Seguin) — Seguin ISD residents interested in running for school board have until 5 p.m. today to file for a place on the November 3rd ballot.
Two positions are up for grabs this fall. Those positions include District 2, currently held by Alejandro Guerra, and District 5, currently held by Denise Crettenden.
Applications are now available at the Seguin ISD Administration Building located at 1221 East Kingsbury Street.
Seguin ISD Superintendent Dr. Jack Lee encourages anyone interested to reach out to the district with questions.
“The biggest thing with school board filing is just that it’s open. All of the information that we have is available on the school district website or on the secretary of state’s website. If there are people who are interested, they’re welcome to give us a call. We’ll try to answer any questions that we might have,” said Dr. Lee.
The filing deadline is 5 p.m. today — Monday, August 17th.
