(Seguin) — Third-ranked and No. 8 national seed Texas Lutheran opens its second Super Regional in program history today, hosting No. 9 seed Redlands in a rematch from last year’s Women’s College World Series.
Game 1 is scheduled for 2 p.m. today at TLU’s Ed Kruse Stadium. Game 2 follows Friday at 1 p.m., with an if-necessary Game 3 set for 3:30 p.m. All three games will be available to stream free at NCAA.com. Redlands eliminated the Bulldogs from last year’s World Series with a 2-0 victory.
It is TLU’s second consecutive Super Regional appearance and fourth overall. The Bulldogs are seeking their fourth Women’s College World Series berth.
