(Seguin) — Navarro senior Shelbi Stevens has been named District 28-4A Offensive MVP after leading the Lady Panthers in six offensive categories this season, earning the top individual honor among Navarro’s All-District post-season awards as voted on by the district’s head coaches.

Stevens, a catcher who will continue her career at the University of Kansas, hit .782 with 19 home runs and 88 RBI while pacing the Lady Panthers in batting average, home runs, doubles, hits, runs and RBI. She also broke her own school single-season home run record for the third time, having established the mark in her sophomore season and broken it again as a junior.

Cadee Zimmer and Jillian Baker earned spots on the All-District First Team. Zimmer batted .570 on the season, second-best on the team, while Baker ranked third at .459.

Audrina Pacheco and Ally Antista were named to the All-District Second Team. Caylee Schronk and Kennedy Seek received honorable mention recognition.

Navarro placed 13 student-athletes on the Academic All-District team: Antista, Baker, Pacheco, Schronk, Seek, Stevens and Zimmer, along with Peyton Cisneros, Natalie Giles, Isabella Hartman, Maycen Isaac, Alyson Rauschuber and Mallory Velasquez.

The Lady Panthers qualified for the UIL playoffs in 2026, advancing to the bi-district round. Navarro is coached by Alma Klatt.
