(Seguin) — The Seguin Lady Matador softball season came to an end in the Area round Friday night. The Lady Mats fell in Game Two of their series, 13-3 to No. 4 ranked Leander.
In other area action:
– Marion softball was eliminated in Area round Friday night, with a 5-2 loss to Columbus.
– Meanwhile, Seguin and Navarro baseball teams completed bi-district sweeps Friday night, and now advance to the next round. Seguin defeated South San 9-1 Friday night, while Navarro defeated Pleasanton 6-1. The Marion baseball team is also headed to the next round after a sweep earlier in the week.
