(Seguin) — Seguin High School senior Elliot Weaver has committed to the track program at Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Weaver made the announcement Monday on social media. This past Saturday, Weaver competed at the Matador Relays at Seguin High School. The senior sprinter earned silver in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.42 seconds. Weaver’s teammate Daniel Pinon took gold with a time of 11.19.
In 2025, Weaver won gold at the area championship. Weaver teamed with Cal Henson, Sammy Bode, and Kevin Lingueno to take gold in the 4×100 relay last spring.
Weaver and the Seguin track team will next compete at the Charles Austin Varsity High School Classic on Friday at Texas State University in San Marcos.
