(Seguin) — A motorcycle accident last week on State Highway 46 North has claimed the life of a 20-year-old McQueeney man.
Seguin Police officials say the crash occurred around 8:43 p.m. Thursday, March 5 in the southbound lanes of State Highway 46 North near the intersection with Eagle Crossing. Officers were dispatched after receiving multiple calls reporting a collision involving a motorcycle.
When officers arrived, they located the motorcyclist lying in the roadway and immediately began life-saving measures. The rider was later identified as Ty Abel, of McQueeney.
Despite the efforts of first responders, officials say Abel was pronounced dead at the scene.
Seguin police say the crash remains under investigation.
