(Marion) — Marion’s record-setting wide receiver Jaiden Riley has made his decision on where he will play college football.
On Thursday evening, the senior announced on social media that he has committed to Texas Lutheran University. Riley established Marion single-season school records with 71 receptions for 1,244 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2025.
Riley was named the unanimous District 13-3A Offensive MVP following the 2025 season. He also earned a spot on the Texas High School Coaches Association Class 3A Super Elite Team and was named to the Padilla Poll Class 3A Division I all-state second team.
Riley will join a Texas Lutheran receiving corps that also includes his former Marion teammate Dominic Castellanos, a multiple all-district receiver who graduated from Marion in 2023. The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs are led by head coach Neal LaHue, who enters his fifth season at the helm this fall.
