Voters have five early voting locations in which to choose from

Voters have five early voting locations in which to choose from

(Seguin) — With one week left in early voting, Guadalupe County officials want to make sure voters know they have multiple convenient options for casting a ballot.

Interim Elections Administrator Michelle Shields says residents can vote at any early voting location in the county.

“What a lot of people don’t know is CTTC or TSTC is not one of our early voting locations so you can always come to the Seguin Elections Office and vote here for early voting so it‘s been great. I mean we have the space for it now and plenty of parking,” said Shields.

Again, as Shields mentioned, there is no early voting over at Texas State Technical College, also known as the Central Texas Technology Center – located near the New Braunfels Municipal Airport in northern Guadalupe County.

The main early voting site for many Seguin residents will be the newly opened Guadalupe County Elections Office, located at 3251 N. State Highway 123, just north of Chili’s. Voters are reminded that the former elections office at 215 S. Milam Street in downtown Seguin is no longer in use.

Other early voting locations include Cibolo Fire Station No. 2, Redemptive Grace Ministries in New Braunfels, the New Berlin Community Center, and the Elections Office Annex in Schertz.

Guadalupe County voters are reminded that they may cast a ballot at any early voting location, regardless of where they live within the county.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through this Friday, Feb. 27, the final day of early voting.

Several local races appear on the Republican ballot, including contested commissioner races in Precincts 2, 3, and 4. There are also contested judicial races, including judge of the Guadalupe County Court-at-Law and Justice of the Peace in Precinct 2.
