(Marion) — The Marion basketball teams won makeup games at Marion High School on Wednesday.
The Lady Bulldogs rolled past Young Women’s Leadership Academy 60-26, improving to 16-14 on the season and 3-2 in District 27-3A. The Marion girls are off Friday and will return to action next Tuesday when they host San Antonio Cole in a game you can hear on KWED.
The Marion boys defeated Young Men’s Leadership Academy 74-55 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are 20-7 overall and 3-1 in district play. They’re ranked 20th in the latest Class 3A Texas coaches state basketball poll. The Marion boys will host Great Hearts Monte Vista in district action Friday evening.
(Seguin) — The Lifegate boys basketball team plays at home tonight, hosting Salem Sayers Baptist Academy. Tipoff is at 6 p.m. at Lifegate Christian School.

(San Antonio) — The Seguin Lady Matadors will travel to San Antonio on Friday to take on Jefferson. That game tips off at 7:30 p.m. at Jefferson High School.
(Seguin) — The Navarro Panthers and Runnin’ Lady Panthers will host San Antonio Kennedy on Friday night. The girls game will tip off a doubleheader at 6:15 p.m. at Navarro High School.
(Seguin) — The Texas Lutheran University basketball teams will host Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheaders Friday and Saturday at Memorial Gymnasium.
Both teams will host St. Thomas on Friday and Colorado College on Saturday. Friday’s doubleheader starts at 5:30 p.m. with the men’s game. The men will also start Saturday’s doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m.
