(Seguin) — The Seguin Lady Matadors play on KWED tonight.
The Lady Mats host San Antonio Lanier this evening. Seguin sits at 6-6 in District 27-5A, holding down the fourth and final playoff spot with four games left in the regular season.
The Lady Matadors defeated Lanier 55-51 in the first round of district play back on December 23rd. Tonight’s rematch tips off at 6:30 at the Seguin High School Student Activity Center. (San Antonio) — Over in San Antonio tonight, the Seguin Matador boys will face the Lanier boys.
The Mats are 5-5 in district play, sitting one game out of the final playoff spot. Lanier handed Seguin a 58-46 defeat at Goldie Harris Gym in the first half of the district season. Tonight’s rematch tips off at 6:30 at Lanier High School.
(San Antonio) — The Navarro Panthers and Runnin’ Lady Panthers hit the road to take on San Antonio Memorial tonight.
The Navarro boys enter at 1-2 in District 28-4A play, while the Lady Panthers are 2-3. The girls tip off at 6:15 this evening at Memorial High School. The boys play at Edgewood Gym in San Antonio, also with a 6:15 tipoff.
(Marion) — In Marion, Monday’s class cancellation has pushed basketball games to Wednesday.
The Lady Bulldogs take on Young Women’s Leadership Academy, while the Marion boys, ranked 20th in the latest Class 3A coaches poll, battle Young Men’s Leadership Academy, with both District 27-3A games at Marion High School. The girls tip off first at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
