The Matadors host San Antonio Brackenridge in a pivotal District 27-5A matchup. Both teams are tied for fifth place in the district, just one game out of the final playoff spot.

The Lady Mats are going for a season sweep over the Lady Eagles. Seguin defeated Brackenridge 58-20 at Seguin High School in the first round of district play back on December 12th.

(La Vernia) — The Navarro Runnin’ Lady Panthers, 2-0 in District 28-4A, face a tough test tonight.
The Lady Panthers play at La Vernia this evening. The Lady Bears are also 2-0 in district and ranked 23rd in the latest Class 4A Texas coaches poll. Tipoff is set for 6:15 tonight in La Vernia.
(La Vernia) — The Navarro Panther boys are also in La Vernia to open district play.
Navarro is 13-11 overall on the season. La Vernia is 19-6. The Panthers and Bears will play the nightcap of a girls/boys basketball doubleheader in La Vernia tonight.
(San Antonio) — The Marion basketball teams are playing a doubleheader this afternoon at San Antonio Cole High School.
The Bulldog and Cougar boys play in their District 27-3A opener in a matchup of top 25 teams in Class 3A this evening. Marion is 17-6 overall and ranked 23rd in the latest Class 3A coaches poll. Cole is 19-5 and ranked 10th.
Meanwhile, the Lady Bulldogs are looking to improve to 2-0 in district. The girls game between Marion and Cole starts the doubleheader this afternoon. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
(San Antonio) — The Lifegate Falcon boys routed River City Believers Academy 70-20 on Thursday.
The Lifegate boys are back in action today. The Falcon girls and boys are playing a doubleheader at McCauley Christian Academy this afternoon. The girls play first at 5 o’clock.
