(Seguin) — Coming off three wins at the SAISD Invitational tournament, the Seguin Matadors open District 27-5A play tonight when they host Sam Houston.
The Matadors are 8-6 overall on the season. Senior Tavien Miles and junior Mikey Hernandez are each averaging over 10 points per game to lead a balanced Seguin lineup. Tipoff between the Mats and Hurricanes is set for 6:30 tonight at Goldie Harris Gym.
(San Antonio) — The Seguin Lady Matadors will look for their second straight district win when they play at Sam Houston tonight.
Phaedra Douglas had 21 points, five rebounds, and four steals in a 58-20 rout of San Antonio Brackenridge on Friday at Seguin High School. The freshman is averaging nearly 14 points, six rebounds, and three steals per game.

(Stockdale) — The Marion Bulldogs are at Stockdale tonight.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 3-2 performance at the Navarro Panther Classic tournament and are 11-3 on the season. Marion and Stockdale tip off at 6:15 in Stockdale.
(Luling) — And the Marion Lady Bulldogs travel to Luling tonight. That game tips off at 6:15 at Luling High School. The Lady Bulldogs will play at the Nixon-Smiley tournament later this week.
