(Seguin) — A cement truck rollover is causing major traffic delays along State Highway 46, where the roadway remains closed in both directions near Sun Lily Road.
Authorities say the single-vehicle crash happened earlier this morning. At this time, investigators have not determined what caused the truck to overturn. No serious injuries have been reported.
The closure impacts traffic between Cordova Road and Link Road as crews work to clear the scene.
Cleanup is expected to take several hours due to the size of the truck and the fact that it was carrying a full load of cement. Officials say spilled cement on the roadway is adding to the challenge, requiring additional time to safely reopen the highway.
