(Seguin) — As you celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, the Seguin Police Department is reminding you to mark your calendars for this year’s Blue Santa wrapping dates.
The annual program which provides Christmas gifts to local children in need depends heavily on volunteers. That’s according to the Seguin Police Department. They say Thanksgiving break is the perfect time to “look ahead at December schedules, coordinate with friends or civic groups, and commit to one or more of the upcoming wrapping nights.”
All wrapping will take place at the Blue Santa Headquarters inside Emanuel’s Lutheran Church, located at 206 N. Travis St. Wrapping sessions will run from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on each designated day.
Wrap days include every Tuesday and Thursday between Dec. 2-18. Volunteers are also needed for Wrapping & Distribution Days scheduled for December 16th and 18th.
