(Seguin) — The Open Rewards Program is back for its second year! The Seguin Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and the Main Street Department are offering an easy and rewarding way for residents to earn cash rewards just by shopping local.
Participating is simple:
1. Download the BluDot Open Rewards app from your app store or visit
https://www.bludot.io/open-rewards-seguin-tx.
2. Shop at a local business participating in the program.
3. Pay as usual for your purchase.
4. Upload your receipt to the app or link your credit or debit card to automatically import purchases.
5. Once your purchase is verified, you will earn 5 percent cash back rewards in your account.
6. Redeem your rewards by completing a second purchase, then clicking the redeem button and uploading your receipt. After verification, your rewards will be paid out through your preferred payout method.
This system ensures rewards stay within the community, as they can only be used at participating local establishments. All forms of payment including cash qualify for rewards.
The Open Rewards Program will run through January 31, 2026, encouraging shoppers to support Seguin businesses throughout the holiday season.

The Seguin Open Rewards Program is funded by the SEDC. Participating businesses can access free promotional materials, including flyers, tent cards, and social media graphics. Businesses interested in these materials can request them by emailing economicdevelopment@seguintexas.gov.
