(Seguin) — The Seguin Matadors will wrap up their season tonight.
The Mats will host San Antonio MacArthur on Senior Night at Matador Stadium. 28 seniors will play their final games as Seguin Matadors tonight.
Matador head coach Craig Dailey will coach his son, quarterback Corey Dailey, tonight for the last time. Dailey reflected on coaching his son and the senior class.
“They’re all good football players. They’re young kids in the classroom and community who have built good relationships,” Dailey said. “They’ve been to my house. Most of those kids have slept on my couch. I’ve seen so many of those kids outside the sport of football with my son. It’s gonna be really special seeing them walk off the field at Matador Stadium one last time.”
Seguin can finish the season with a .500 record with a win. Last week, the Matadors were eliminated from the playoffs for just the second time in the last eight seasons.
Tonight’s Senior Night kickoff at Matador Stadium between the Matadors and MacArthur is set for 7 p.m. We’ll have all the action on KWED.

(Florence) — The Marion Bulldogs, who will play in the bi-district round next week, will conclude their regular season at Florence tonight.
The Bulldogs have clinched the third seed out of District 13-3A. They will know their playoff opponent after games are completed in District 14-3A tonight. We will have Marion’s bi-district playoff game next week on KWED.
Marion and Florence kick off tonight at 7 p.m. in Florence.
(Geronimo) — And the Navarro Panthers are waiting on their playoff fate tonight.
Navarro is on a bye in the final week of the regular season. They are currently one-half game behind Gonzales and Lago Vista for the last playoff spot in District 13-4A.
Gonzales hosts Jarrell tonight while Lago Vista hosts Wimberley. If both Gonzales and Lago Vista lose their games tonight, Navarro will clinch the fourth and final playoff spot in the district.
