(Seguin) — A foster care facility for unplaced children in the Seguin area — needs immediate financial help to keep from shutting down. TruLight Youth Village houses 28 children on a ten-acre property near Seguin that has room for more than 35.
After several years of declining donations, inflation, and rising costs, the nonprofit says it needs about 50 thousand dollars to stay open. The facility posted a call for help on social media, resulting in almost four thousand dollars in donations in 24 hours.
