(San Antonio) — The San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game rosters were announced on Monday and five area student-athletes were selected to play in the game.
Seguin Matador quarterback Corey Dailey and linebacker Damian Garcia will play in the game. Dailey, a Pitt Panther commit, has thrown for 1,869 yards with 17 touchdowns and just two interceptions in six games this season. In four years as the Matador starting quarterback, Dailey has thrown for 8,086 yards and 95 touchdowns.
Garcia was the leading returning tackler from the Seguin defense in 2024. This year, he has 28 tackles including two for loss. Garcia has also recovered two fumbles, returning one for a touchdown.
A pair of offensive stars will represent Marion High School in the all-star game — quarterback Kade Pape and wide receiver Jaiden Riley. Through seven games, Pape has thrown for 1,753 yards and 23 touchdowns. Riley has caught 42 passes for 810 yards and 17 TDs. The duo has helped the Bulldog offense average 40.9 points per game.
Braddock Gallini was selected to represent Navarro High School. Gallini is a two-way starter for the Panthers at tight end on offense and on the defensive line. In 2024, he was an all-district honorable mention at receiver and a second team selection at defensive end. In seven games this year, he leads Navarro with three sacks and six tackles for loss.
119 student athletes representing 68 high schools have been chosen for the San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game which will take place on Saturday, January 10 at the Alamodome. It’s the 48th anniversary of the game, in which the area’s top senior players will take the field at 5:30 p.m.
