Navarro's Tegan Harborth takes home MVP at South Texas Coaches Association Girls Basketball All-Star Game

(Floresville) — In one last game in her high school career, Navarro senior Tegan Harborth earned the MVP at the South Texas Coaches Association Girls Basketball All-Star Game in Floresville.

Harborth, who led the Runnin’ Lady Panthers in points, rebounds, assists and steals per game during the 2024-25 season, poured in 23 points while grabbing seven rebounds, dishing out five assists and coming up with three steals leading her team to a 72-38 victory this past Saturday. The performance secured her the game’s Most Valuable Player award.

Following Navarro’s season, Harborth was named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 4A All-State team and the TGCA 1-2-3-4A All-Star Legacy team. She was also named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Class 4A Region 4 girls’ team as well as the All-District 26-4A First Team, and she earned second Team academic all-state recognition from the Texas High School Coaches Association. Harborth was honored on the Class 4A all-state academic team along with her Navarro teammates Isabelle Geipel, Madison Gilliam, Kalista Scott and Evelyn Scott.

Navarro won 26 games overall under Harborth’s father, Darrell Harborth, who coached the Lady Panthers in his 27th and final season. Navarro advanced to the regional finals in the 2024-25 season.
