Guadalupe County Elections office to vote on next sticker design

(Seguin) — The Guadalupe County Elections Office is launching its first-ever  “I Voted” and “Future Voter” sticker design contest open to school-age children up to 18 years of age, including those in public, private, or homeschool settings. The winning designs will be featured as official stickers for the 2025-2026 election cycle.

We are excited to see the creativity and talent the students of Guadalupe County have to offer. This limited-edition sticker will be offered and proudly worn by voters of Guadalupe County during the next two years.

Lisa Hayes, the Election Administrator, shared her excitement: “This contest celebrates civic engagement and makes voting feel even more special. It spotlights creativity and support for democracy.

Our goal is to foster a sense of community and excitement around the voting process while encouraging important conversations about the importance of voting, particularly for our youth to get the knowledge and ask questions at an early age.”

A panel of five judges, including representatives from the local organizations and political parties, and community leaders, will evaluate submissions based on design categories, originality, and artistic quality. Winners will be selected by July 1, 2025, and those individuals will be invited to Commissioners Court for an official announcement on July 15, 2025. The first-place winner will be awarded a certificate and a framed copy of their artwork, while the second and third-place winners will also receive certificates. All entries will be displayed at the Guadalupe County Elections Office during the grand opening of the new facility at 3251 N. State Hwy 123 in Seguin.

The Elections Office will notify the winners by July 1, 2025. Those individuals will then be invited to an award ceremony during Commissioners Court on July 15, 2025, where we will announce the winners to the public.

Participants must adhere to the contest’s official rules, submit consent forms, and send their designs by 5 pm on June 13, 2025, to sticker.contest@guadalupetx.gov or in person at the Elections Office, 215 S. Milam Street, Seguin, TX.
