(San Antonio) — The Lifegate Christian boys and girls track teams brought home a bounty of medals at the Texas Christian Athletic League state track meet on Friday.
The Lady Falcons won the Class 2A state championship as a team. The Falcon boys finished third.
Seth Witschorke won gold in the boys 400 meters and silver medals in the 100 meters, 200 meters and long jump.
Noah Perez won gold in the 100 meter hurdles, bronze in the 300 meter hurdles, silver in the triple jump and he finished 5th in the long jump.
Jayce Kurz won bronze in the 400 meters, finished 4th in 100 meters, 4th in the 200 meters, won bronze in the triple jump and placed 4th place in the long jump.
For the Lady Falcons:
The 4×100 team of Kylie Maples, Sophia Mendez, Ariana Lindsay and Audrey Polcyn won gold.
The 4×200 team of Kylie Maples, Ariana Lindsay, Lyndsey Phillips and Audrey Polcyn took the gold.
The 4×400 team of Bailey Smith, Calley Yates, Sophia Mendez and Kylie Maples won gold.
Sharla Maples won the gold in the shot put and discus.
Sophia Mendez won silver in the 400 meters.
Audrey Polcyn took silver in the 100 meters.
Elizabeth Jordan placed 4th in the 200 meters and 5th in the 100 meters.
Ariana Lindsay finished 6th in the 100 meters.
Kylie Maples took the gold in the high jump and long jump.
Lyndsey Phillips won gold in the 300 meter hurdles, finished 4th 100 meter hurdles and 4th in the long jump.
Alayna Sanchez finished 6th in the 400 meters and 7th in the 200 meters.
Calley Yates took silver in the long jump and the triple jump.
Ellie Spire won silver in the shot put and placed 4th in the discus.
Bailey Smith won the gold in the triple jump, she placed 4th in the 400 meters and 5th in the 200 meters.
The TCAL state meet was held at the Wheatley Heights Sports Complex in San Antonio.
