Earth Day Festival plus Spring Trade Days returns to central park
(Seguin) – Get ready for some eco-friendly fun, shopping, crafts and all-around community vibes this Saturday in downtown Seguin. That’s according to Kyle Kramm, the Seguin Main Street and CVB director.
Kramm says Seguin’s Earth Day Festival and Spring Trade Days return this Saturday in Central Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“This spring fling is bringing the green scene to downtown with over 25 awesome exhibitors ready to share all kinds of tips and tricks for living a more sustainable life. From plant sales and seed-planting fun to water quality demos and bicycling encouragement, there’s something for every eco-warrior in the family,” said Kramm.
Folks are also encouraged to swing by the Electric Vehicle Station to check out some of the latest in EV tech.
Kramm says whether you’re just curious or ready to make the switch, it’s the perfect chance to learn more about green living.
“The Earth Day Festival is a blast for all ages—kids will love the crafts; adults will love the demos and shopping, and everyone walks away having learned something new,” said Kramm. “We’re thrilled about this year’s lineup of exhibitors!”
Adding to the fun will be an Earth Day Passport game. Kramm says the idea is simple. He says just stop by each exhibitor, “collect your stamps, and then turn it in for a bag full of green goodies and helpful info to take home.”
This year’s Spring Trade Days is also set for feature more than 80 vendors. Booths will include treasures such as décor, handmade jewelry, art, home goods, snacks, and unique gift ideas.
Adding to the downtown festivities will be pet adoptions. Seguin Animal Services will be on hand to help match up some of its furry friends with their forever homes.
