Call going out to non-profits looking to be included in resource guide

(Seguin) — Calling all non-profit groups in Seguin and Guadalupe County. The annual Non-Profit Resource Guidebook is once again be put together, and a call is going out to make sure that all organizations are included.

KWED General Manager Darren Dunn says the guidebook was put together for the first time last year. He says they hope to expand it even more this year.

“There are so many new people moving into the community. We started this guidebook to serve as a resource for newcomers and long time residents as well. Folks may not be aware of all of the services and opportunities that exist in this community. We want make sure that there is a viable tool that can be used to keep these organizations better connected to the communities that they serve,” said Dunn.

Dunn says they’ve been added to the list of non-profit groups included in the 2024 guidebook. He says he hopes that all organizations reach out with their contact information.

“We don’t want to miss anyone. If you can think of a problem, there’s a good chance that there is a local group working to provide a solution. The needs in this community are real, and that’s why we want to make sure we list as many organizations as possible this year. Even if you think you’re already on the list, it doesn’t hurt to submit your information,” said Dunn.

The names of non-profit organizations, what they do and their contact information can be emailed to darren@kwed1580.com.

The Non-Profit 2025 Guidebook is being printed and will be available at the end of the month. The resource will also be made available online at seguintoday.com. The guidebook will remain available until the new guide is printed in 2026.

If you have questions or you’re an organization that would like to advertise in the guidebook, you can call 830-379-2234.
