(Marion) — We’ll have the Marion Bulldogs on the radio tonight on KWED.

The Bulldogs will take on the Great Heart Northern Oaks Griffins. Marion is 4-2 in District 27-3A, the Bulldogs are a relatively young team with only three seniors on the roster and head coach Tim Tesch says his young team is gaining valuable experience.

We started off hot at the beginning of the year, going through two good tournaments and playing some big schools in (Class) 5A,” Tesch said. “The big thing in district is (we’re) learning how to control ourselves in high pressure situations especially on the bump has been big for us this year.”

Tonight is Senior Night at Marion High School. Seniors Mason Roeder, Kasyn Klufas and Randon Schwab will be in the starting lineup and you’ll be able to hear all the action on KWED.

Our Bulldog baseball coverage will start at around 6:45 p.m. from Marion High School with first pitch at 7 O’clock. And we’re expected to get a visit from new Marion Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Joel Call during tonight’s broadcast on AM 1580 and streaming at SeguinToday.com.
