Marcial Saenz also known as “Mache” was born to Ofelia Zambrano & Fidel Saenz Sr. on December 26, 1945, in Seguin, Texas. Marcial gained his heavenly wings on April 9, 2025, and joined his parents and siblings. He is survived by his sister, Aurora Quintanilla.
He will be remembered by numerous nephews, nieces and extended family members for his caring smile, love of JESUS, Christian music, eating enchiladas and playing bingo. The family would like to thank Walnut Springs Health and Rehabilitation, Hospice Heart to Heart & Bluebonnet Trails staff for the care and services provided to Marcial.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Armando Flores, Jonathan C. Flores, Alphonso Flores, Eric Jordan Garcia, Robert Leal and Filemon Saenz. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Flores III and Samuel Saenz.

Visiting hours will be at Palmer Mortuary on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, starting at 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The final viewing will be at Palmer Mortuary on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, starting at 8:00 a.m. The chapel will dismiss at 9:00 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment at the pavilion at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park will follow.
