(Marion) — The Marion Lady Bulldogs play on the radio tonight as they host district rival Randolph on KWED.
Marion is 2-0 in the early District 26-3A season. The Lady Bulldogs had 21 hits in an 11-6 non-district victory over the San Antonio Homeschool Saints on Tuesday. Marion sophomore Cambry Dojahn went 3-for-5 with a double in the victory.
Randolph has dropped their first two district games, but Lady Bulldog head coach Sammy Scribner says the Randolph faithful is boisterous and will bring a big crowd to Marion to back their team.
“It’s a big rival in all the sports. They will have a big crowd,” Scribner said. “Baseball is playing here tonight as well with Randolph. So, we look forward to a big crowd. They bring it whenever they come to town. They bring the military pride with them.”
As coach Scrib mentioned, the baseball team will also be playing Randolph tonight at Marion High School. And it’s Marion Youth Sports Night. Youth sports players will join the Marion softball and baseball teams on the field during the National Anthem before each game.

(Marion) — The Marion baseball game with Randolph will start a half-hour after the start of the softball game.
The Bulldogs are 1-1 in district after a 7-2 victory on Tuesday at Great Hearts Northern Oaks. First pitch between the Bulldogs and Ro-Hawks takes place at 7 O’clock at the Marion High School baseball field.
(San Antonio) — The Seguin Matadors, 5-0 in District 27-5A, are on the road tonight.
The Mats will play San Antonio Lanier in district play. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. at the SA ISD Sports Complex.
(San Antonio) — The Seguin Lady Matadors are 6-0 in district and state-ranked as they take on Lanier tonight.
The Lady Mats are No. 10 in the latest Class 5A coaches state softball poll. They have won 14 of their first 15 games this season. Tonight’s game between the Lady Matadors and Lanier Lady Voks starts at 7:15 p.m. at the SA ISD Sports Complex.
(Wimberley) — The Navarro Lady Panthers will look to make it back-to-back District 27-4A wins when they play at Wimberley tonight.
Navarro crushed Bandera 17-7 at home on Tuesday. Tonight’s game was originally scheduled to be played in Geronimo, but has been moved to Wimberley with the recent rain in the area. The Lady Panthers and Lady Texans will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in Wimberley.
(San Antonio) — And the Navarro Panther baseball team will look for a district split with Davenport tonight.
The Wolves took down the Panthers, 9-5 in eight innings on Tuesday at Navarro High School. The teams will rematch tonight at Davenport High School. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
