(San Antonio) — Both the Seguin baseball and softball teams will look to stay perfect in District 27-5A when they play road games in San Antonio today.
The Matador baseball team is 2-0 in district. They are playing at Burbank this afternoon. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m. at San Antonio Burbank High School.
The Lady Matadors take on Burbank at the SA ISD Sports Complex. The Lady Mats are 4-0 in district. They have run-ruled all four of their opponents thus far earning them a ranking of No. 24 in the latest Class 5A Coaches State Softball Poll. First pitch between Seguin and the Burbank Lady Bulldogs is set for 7:15 p.m. this evening.
(Guadalupe County) — The Navarro Lady Panthers and Marion Lady Bulldogs have an off-day today.
The Lady Panthers will play at Canyon Lake on Friday. The Lady Bulldogs are off this week for Spring Break.
(Geronimo) — The Navarro Panther baseball team, off to an 11-1 start to the season after crushing Medina Valley 12-4 on Saturday, will next play on Thursday. Navarro will host Gonzales for their final non-district game before their district season starts next week.
(Marion) — The Marion Bulldogs fell to Class 5A 9th-ranked New Braunfels 5-1 on Monday afternoon.
The Bulldogs will take on the other NBISD school today when they take on the Long Creek Dragons. First pitch is set for High Noon at New Braunfels Long Creek High School.
(Brownwood) — The TLU Bulldogs are in Brownwood this afternoon taking on Howard Payne in a non-conference baseball tilt.
TLU will return home to Katt-Isbel Field in Seguin on Friday to begin a three-game Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference series with Austin College. The Bulldogs are 14-6 on the season and 8-4 in SCAC play.
(Sherman) — The TLU softball team, 18-1 on the season and 10-1 in the SCAC, returns to the diamond on Friday. The Bulldogs travel to Austin College to begin a three-game conference series in Sherman on Friday evening.
