Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office continues its wanted roundup


(Guadalupe County) – Fugitives continue to be tracked down in Guadalupe County.

The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit recently tracked down John Matthew Chavez in Kingsbury. Chavez was wanted on seven counts of sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child. Assisting in the arrest was the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Guadalupe County Sheriff’s deputies and investigators also located and apprehended Nolan Thomas Haag in Cibolo. Haag reportedly had an active warrant in Guadalupe County for sexual assault.

Sheriff’s investigators also recently worked with the Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division, to locate Guadalupe County fugitive, Bobin George in Houston. Officials say George was successfully taken off the streets for violating a protective order issued out of Guadalupe County. The sheriff’s office has taken to social media to help share the execution of these successful arrest warrants.
