Robert “Bobby” Lawrence Neuse, age 69 of Marion, passed away on February 21, 2025. Bobby was born on June 27, 1955 in New Braunfels, Texas, to Rosaline S. (Roemisch) and Menan Neuse.
Bobby grew up in Marion and was a proud graduate of Marion High School Class of 1973, where he served as Class President. He will be remembered as an electrician, beginning his career at Bexar Electric which later became IES where as of late, he did much of the electrical bidding for the company.
He enjoyed working his cattle, but his most favorite times were spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents and his special cousin, Cecil Neuse.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Connie Neuse; daughters, Kimberly Neuse-Penshorn and husband Robert, Bridgette Brietzke and husband Brian, and Rachelle Koehler and husband Russell; grandchildren who knew and loved him as Opa, Samantha Koehler, Brayden Brietzke, Victoria Koehler, and Brittney Brietzke; sisters, Edith Lucas and husband John, and Betty Carley and husband Scott; special cousin, Ryan Neuse and wife Erin and their family; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members, and a host of friends throughout South Central Texas.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Tom Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Marion. A reception will follow at Bexar Hall.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Nentwich, Charlie Luensmann, Robert Hufnagl, Jerald Jarzombek, Aubrey Steffen, and John Hild. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Hild, John Lucas and Clifton Engle.
