High school basketball: Navarro boys host Bandera tonight on KWED

(Geronimo) — We’ll have Navarro Panther boys basketball on KWED tonight.

The Panthers will host the Bandera Bulldogs in District 26-4A at Navarro High School this evening.

Both teams are seeking their first district win after falling in their first two games. Tonight’s game between Navarro and Bandera tips off at 6:30 p.m. Our Navarro Panther basketball pregame coverage starts at 6:20 tonight on AM 1580 and streaming at SeguinToday.com.

(Bandera) — The Navarro Runnin’ Lady Panthers are in Bandera tonight to take on the Lady Bulldogs.

The Lady Panthers are 2-2 in district play, Bandera is 0-4 in district. Tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Bandera High School.

(Seguin) — Over in Seguin, the Lady Matadors host Fox Tech tonight.

The Lady Mats took down the Lady Buffs, 45-25 in San Antonio in the first half of the District 27-5A schedule back on December 13th. Tonight’s rematch between Seguin and Fox Tech is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Seguin High School Student Activity Center.

(San Antonio) — The Seguin boys will look for their sixth straight district victory when they travel to Fox Tech tonight.

The Mats are 7-2 in district and in a four-way tie for first place with Jefferson, Highlands and Edison. Fox Tech is winless in district. Seguin won the first game with the Buffaloes, 64-41 last month.

The start time for tonight’s game has been changed. Originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m., the game will now tip off at 7:30 this evening at Fox Tech High School.

(Marion) — And there’s a girls/boys basketball double header tonight at Marion High School.

The Marion teams will host host Great Hearts Northern Oaks in District 27-3A play. The girls game will tip off first at 6:15 p.m.
