(Seguin) — Seguin High School student-athlete Prince Medrano announced today on Instagram that he will continue his academic and athletic career right here in Seguin.
On Monday, the senior posted he will run track at Texas Lutheran University. Earlier this fall, Medrano helped Seguin High School win their first district championship in cross country. Medrano finished in third at the District 27-5A cross country meet on October 10th. Teaming with Adrian Rangel, who finished first, along with Noah King and Adrian Aguirre, who finished sixth and 10th respectively, the four runners led Seguin to the top of the team standings at the meet. Following the season, Medrano was named the MVP of the cross country team.
