Seguin and Marion tune up for playoffs in final week of high school football regular season

(San Antonio) — The Seguin Matadors, already in the high school football playoffs, will take on MacArthur on Saturday afternoon at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio.

Seguin will be the fourth-seed out of District 13-5A. They will play at San Antonio Southwest in the bi-district round next Friday night.

Saturday will be a playoff tune up for the Matadors. And we’ll have the game on KWED. Our Seguin football pregame starts at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon where we’ll get you ready for kickoff with Seguin head coach Craig Dailey inside the Matador Report leading up to kickoff between the Brahmas and Matadors at 2 O’clock on AM 1580 and streaming at SeguinToday.com.

(Marion) — We’ll have Marion Bulldog football for you on KWED on Friday night as the Bulldogs host Florence to close their regular season.

The Bulldogs are also in the playoffs. They will be either the third or fourth seed out of District 13-3A depending on the results of games in the district on Friday.

Friday night is Senior Night at Marion High School. The game kicks at 7 p.m. at Veterans Stadium in Marion. We’ll have our Bulldog football pregame on KWED starting at 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening where we will talk with Marion head football coach Ryne Miller during the Bulldog Report inside our pregame show.

(Geronimo) — And the Navarro Panthers have a bye in the final week of the regular season.

Navarro is in the postseason. They await their opponent in the bi-district round next week following the completion of games in Districts 13 and 14-4A on Friday.
