Building the Future: Skilled Trades, Tech Job Fair this week


(Seguin) — The Seguin Economic Development Corporation (Seguin EDC), New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, Schertz Economic Development Corporation (Schertz EDC), and Cibolo Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), are excited to announce the upcoming Building the Future: Skilled Trades and Tech Job Fair. This event will be held on Nov. 7, 2024, from 11 AM to 3 p.m. at the New Braunfels Food Bank located at 1620 S Seguin Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130.

The Building the Future Job Fair aims to connect local job seekers with employers in the skilled trades and technology sectors. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with representatives from various companies, learn about available job openings, and gain valuable insights into career paths in these high- demand industries.

“The Building the Future Job Fair is a unique opportunity to connect local talent with businesses that are driving our region’s growth,” said Josh Schneuker, Executive Director of the Seguin EDC. “By bringing together skilled trades and tech employers with motivated job seekers, we’re not only helping individuals find fulfilling careers but also strengthening our community’s economic foundation. We’re excited to see how this event will foster long-term opportunities and create pathways for success in high-demand industries.”

Participating employers will include companies from a variety of industries, such as manufacturing, construction, engineering, information technology, and more. They will be showcasing a wide range of job opportunities, including entry-level positions, skilled trades, and professional roles.
