(Seguin) – A 20-year-old man was killed while riding his motorcycle early Wednesday morning near Texas Lutheran University.
The Seguin Police Department responded to the motor vehicle crash at the intersection of West Kingsbury Street and Fleming Drive at approximately 6:17 a.m. Officers were alerted that a male on the scene was unresponsive.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the man was traveling eastbound on West Kingsbury Street on a motorcycle when it collided with a 2018 Nissan Rogue. The vehicle, driven by a 53-year-old female, was attempting to cross West Kingsbury Street northbound on Fleming Drive at the time of the crash. The motorcycle struck the driver’s side of the SUV.
The man was transported to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, pending the results of a crash reconstruction analysis. Both drivers were residents of Seguin or the surrounding area.
