(San Antonio) — The rosters for the San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game were announced on Tuesday and a number of area standouts were selected to play in the game.

Marion offensive lineman Garrett Mann, Navarro defensive lineman Kade Pugh, Seguin offensive lineman David Barron and Matador wide receiver Nik Henry were among the 117 San Antonio area high school senior student-athletes chosen to play in the game. The players represent 68 high schools in the area.

Mann is a two-time first team offensive lineman for Marion. He earned first team honors after his junior and sophomore seasons for the Bulldogs.

Navarro’s Pugh made the all-district second team for the Panthers following his junior year in 2023. He’s been selected to the Academic All District team the last two seasons.

Seguin’s Barron anchors the left side of the Matador offensive line at tackle. He’s been offered to continue his athletic and academic career at Sul Ross State University.

And Henry, a Texas-El Paso commit, is averaging over 100 yards receiving per game for Seguin this season. Henry’s been named a three-star recruit by athletic recruitment website 247Sports and by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football.

The 47th San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game will be played on Saturday, January 11th at the Alamodome. The area’s top seniors will take the field at 5 p.m. following the All-American Bowl which kicks off at noon. Pieper High School’s head football coach Nick Rogers will coach Team White, and Eddie Salas from Harlan High School will coach Team Blue. Players were nominated by their high school coaches.
