(Seguin) — The annual Downtown Scarecrow and Skeleton Competition has become a loved tradition for visitors to downtown Seguin. The competition encourages businesses to decorate their storefront windows with one of the season’s most popular features. The scarecrows and skeletons range from traditional to spooky.
“The Scarecrow Competition is a time for our downtown businesses and others to let their creativity shine and showcase their businesses,” said Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street and CVB Director, “The decorations are a great addition to downtown as we enter the busy fall event schedule.”
The Downtown Scarecrow Competition is hosted by the Seguin Main Street Program and the Guadalupe County Fair Association.
Judges for the competition were Cindy Aguirre-Herrera, Jennifer Sourdellia, and Joe Rea.
