(Seguin) — The Lifegate Lady Falcons are home tonight to take on McCauley Christian Academy. The match gets underway at 7 p.m. at Lifegate Christian School.
(Seguin) — The Seguin Matador football team is off Friday night, but the Seguin Lady Matador volleyball team will be home at Goldie Harris Gym.
The Lady Mats stayed unbeaten at 9-0 in District 27-5A with straight sets road victory on Tuesday night over the Sam Houston Lady Hurricanes. Karina Lerma and Elli Anderson led Seguin with 10 kills a piece. Lerna had seven aces off her serve while Gisele Morales contributed five aces. Morales also had 25 assists. The junior setter is on pace for a 1000 assist season. She currently has 788 assists this season.
Seguin will go for their 10th straight district win when they host San Antonio Fox Tech on Friday evening. The Lady Matadors swept the Lady Buffs in the first round of district play on September 3rd. Friday’s match between Fox Tech and Seguin takes place at 6:30 p.m. at Goldie Harris.

(Geronimo) — The Navarro Lady Panthers, 1-1 in District 26-4A, will host Davenport on Friday. The Lady Wolves are 2-0 in district play. First serve is set for 6 p.m. on Friday at Navarro High School.
(San Antonio) — And the Marion Lady Bulldogs, coming off a home sweep of Great Hearts Northern Oaks in their District 27-3A opener on Tuesday, will go on the road for game number two in district play on Friday. The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Young Women’s Leadership Academy. The match starts at 7:15 p.m. Friday evening.
