SEGUIN, Texas — Texas Lutheran football was selected to finish second in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Preseason Coaches Poll that was announced Monday afternoon.
The three-time SCAC champions, who return to the conference as the SCAC reinstates football for the first time since 2016, were edged out by first-place McMurry, who received all five first place votes entering their first season in the conference.
With the season opening game set for September 7 in San Antonio, less than three weeks remain until the 2024 season kicks off. Texas Lutheran football season tickets can be purchased here.
