SEGUIN, Texas — Texas Lutheran women’s tennis freshman Lindsay Beville (New Braunfels/Canyon) has been honored as a 2024 Scholar-Athlete by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for her outstanding academic success, the outlet announced.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year.

As a freshman, Beville earned SCAC Player of the Week and All-Sportsmanship Team honors for her performance on the court, winning five singles matches in her first season as a Bulldog.
