(Seguin) – Today is the last day to snag your discount deal for this year’s Texas Women of Influence Conference. The conference hosted by the Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce returns Aug. 7-8 at the Seguin Coliseum. This year’s theme is “Be A Part of the Celebration.”
Chamber President Chester Jenke says the event is described as a two-day celebration dedicated to honoring the “remarkable women of Texas!”
“The Women of Influence Conference, the Wednesday night gala is to honor a local Guadalupe County woman of influence and the nominations just closed for that last week and they are being sent to the selection committee which is outside of our community to be selected. Then the Thursday event is a Women’s Conference and there are breakout sessions during the day. Our keynote speaker this year is Jan Hargrave and if you don’t know who that is, you can Google it and if you find the lady with the pink glasses, you are in the right place. She does quite a bit of public speaking inside of large forums, so we are excited about that for this year,” said Jenke.
Jenke says the chamber does not want anyone to miss out on the two-day event and is encouraging them to take advantage of a special ticket combo deal. He says the discount deal, which expires today, “is the same as buying the Conference ticket and getting a Gala Night ticket for free.”
“One of the things that I would add is if they are looking for a ticket for it, right now, the chamber has our combo tickets at a reduced price. So, our normal combo ticket is $200 but we have a $50 off coupon and the coupon code is WELCOMEBACK, all caps,” said Jenke.
